Our Mission is Simple:
Support Photographers
The Artist. That's what Horsepower is about. Since day one, our mission has been to offer high quality photography at a fair price that meaningfully supports our roster of exceptionally talented artists.
Every print sold puts money directly into the pocket of the artist, enabling them to keep doing what they love. We won't chase cheap, mass-produced art or cut corners with discounts or AI. Instead, we price every piece fairly in order to respect the value of our artists' work and so that we can use the best materials available to us.

Our Story
Before the gallery was even a thought, our founder—just a regular guy with a camera and no clue how to use it—snapped a photo of a mule deer while on an elk hunt in Wyoming. The deer, standing by some sagebrush, basically posed for the shot like it knew it was doing him a favor.
When he got home, he printed the photo and hung it up in his office. He didn’t think much of it, but then people started coming in and stopping dead in their tracks. “Where’s this at?” they’d ask. The questions would start rolling—“What’s a mule deer? You hunt elk?”—and pretty soon, they’d be swapping stories about the outdoors.
That one photo turned into more than a picture on the wall. It sparked conversations and meaningful connections. Those connections lit a fire. Our founder realized there are people out there who do this for a living—capturing incredible fishing trips, duck hunts, and landscapes that tell stories of the wild. They’re out there, at the top of their game, taking shots he could only dream of and exploring places he hopes to see one day.
And that’s how Horsepower was born. A simple photo led to a big idea: creating a space to showcase the work of these talented photographers and help their art connect with people everywhere. Because sometimes, a single image can inspire, tell a story, and bring us all closer together.
